Antenatal Care

The most important subject of
our childbirth is the mother.
A period of prenatal care in which the mother and her baby
take charge and take control will lead to a better
birth and will make a significant difference in postpartum
recovery and breastfeeding .
We carry out prenatal care
systematically and strictly,
in a textbook-like manner.
That is why our prenatal care period can feel burdensome. However,
excessive diet management and physical strength management
are directly related to pregnancy without complications and
free childbirth without medical intervention.
The role of the spouse is also important. The mother feels more fulfilled
and happier through all the processes of exercising, eating,
and feeling together with her husband .

Prenatal care schedule

1st trimester of pregnancy
It refers to the period from the first 13 weeks to the 6th day of pregnancy. This is the period when important body organs are formed for the fetus, and
the mother experiences rapid physical and psychological changes related to pregnancy. Therefore, it is more important than any other period of pregnancy.
Take folic acid to prevent nerve and defects in the fetus. Even if you suffer from morning sickness,
it is important to eat foods that are free from chemical additives and pesticides, and maintain an active lifestyle as much as possible.
If severe morning sickness causes excessive weight loss, you must consult a specialist. Maintaining the enjoyment of daily life is most important.
2nd/3rd trimester of pregnancy
It is a time to get comfortable physically and psychologically after the unstable period of early pregnancy.
It is a time to take care of the body weakened by morning sickness,
so start exercising as soon as possible and diligently manage your diet that you have not paid attention to before.
Start taking additional iron supplements.
In particular, those who have lost a lot of muscle due to morning sickness are more likely to gain weight,
so you should pay more attention to weight management and muscle recovery.
As the 24th week passes, the size of the fetus and uterus increases noticeably and the body becomes heavier.
Accordingly, pain in the lower back and legs may occur, so you should try to maintain the correct posture. It is okay to plan a light trip.
Since it is a time when preeclampsia and gestational diabetes can occur,
check for proteinuria and glucose in the urine with a urine stick test at every prenatal care, and check blood pressure and weight changes.
3rd trimester of pregnancy
The weight of the growing fetus, uterus, and amniotic fluid makes the mother's posture
more uncomfortable, and it is easy to experience breathing difficulties and indigestion.
It is important to eat small meals as often as possible and not neglect exercise. It is also important for the mother to
maintain confidence enough to be sure of her own health and the health of the fetus.
It is important not to be swayed by the worries or lenient words of those around her. In order to check for the onset of preeclampsia,
a urine stick test is performed at each visit to check for proteinuria and glucose in the urine.
If you spend this time well, you can correct and supplement the areas that were neglected until the second trimester.
